Job Description

Amcor has an immediate need for a Pricing Manager to support growth for our Agriculture and Industrial films segments within our Flexibles Converting and Distribution business unit.

PURPOSE

This position will primarily provide support quoting, customer, and profitability analysis for our Agriculture segment as well as oversee the quoting/pricing practices for our Industrial films segment within the Converting and Distribution business unit. This person will be responsible for being able to understand and maintain costing models. This person will develop pricing recommendations for customer P&L reviews, transactional requests, and large RFPs by having the ability to analyze market conditions, understanding growth areas, EBIT targets, and existing customer pricing. This person will work cross-functionally and develop a direct working relationship with Sales, Price Coordinators, and Customer Care to validate and clear price discrepancies and work towards accurate pricing for future and repeat orders. This person will also greatly contribute to growing volume, as well as earnings, and streamline current pricing practices.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Monthly product line profitability reviews
  • Coordinate team process flows across product lines
  • Provide new system/process training for price analysts and coordinators
  • Work closely with sales leadership and product management to achieve product line EBIT goals
  • Work with price coordinator team to communicate price changes in JD Edwards and other pricing system(s)
  • Troubleshoot pricing entry issues with Customer Care
  • Establish traceability for each customer's pricing
  • Maintain and update product line cost models
  • Analyze and improve processes for pricing/quoting long term
  • Attend sales and leadership meetings as requested
  • Special pricing related projects as needed

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

  • BS degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of quoting/cost analysis and pricing experience preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills, effective communication skills, and ability to responsibly maintain confidential and sensitive information.
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Office and related software applications - Emphasis in Excel and Access.
  • Clear understanding of sales order processes and basic pricing concepts using ERP system in a manufacturing-based environment.
  • High proficiency in use of JD Edwards software a plus
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and with teams.
  • Ability to travel when required
