Job Summary

The Dispatcher is responsible for tracking inbound and outbound freight and maintains fleet performance and inventory records.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Monitors and records all inbound and outbound freight weights and properly updates status board.
  • Routes all stops daily, then reviews the stops once completed.
  • Monitors to make sure all product has been removed from transfer stations.
  • Inputs all fleet related data and generates required reports.
  • Performs plant office functions and assumes responsibilities of Office Manager duties in his/her absence.
  • Responsible for answering and dispatching all Call center emails.
  • Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
  • Data entry into the safety system for driver coaching.
  • Completes the payroll for management to review.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • One (1) year prior experience in an office and/or transportation environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Good communication skills; able to follow oral and written directions.
  • Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
