Job Summary

As a Human Resources Intern, you will join our dynamic team of HR professionals on a journey to make our workplace the best it can be. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in all facets of Human Resources including talent acquisition, talent management, learning & development, compensation & benefits, HR business partnering, and HR operations. This internship offers a unique chance to gain practical experience in HR strategies, and a deeper understanding of the vital role HR plays in business success.



Work Location

This position offers a hybrid work schedule in our West Bend, WI office. The position will start in Summer 2026 with a high likely hood to continue until graduation.



Responsibilities & Qualifications

What you will get to do and learn in this internship:

    HR Business Partner team : Observe strategic HR discussions, assist with employee relations documentation, and support change initiatives. Learn from experienced HR professionals and actively participate in the execution of HR strategies.
  • Talent Acquisition: Support recruiting activities including job postings, interview coordination, and candidate sourcing and outreach. Shadow recruiters during interviews and debrief sessions
  • Talent Management: Support performance management and talent program initiatives
  • Learning and Development: Assist in organizing training sessions and materials, manage LMS content, analyze training effectiveness and feedback collection
  • Compensation and Benefits: Contribute to compensation analysis, benefits communications, and wellness initiatives. Shadow team members during vendor meetings and audits
  • HR Operations: Maintain HRIS data, support compliance tracking, and help improve HR processes. Assist with creating reports and presentations.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Rising Junior status at the beginning of the internship is highly preferred.
  • Strong interest in human resources and a desire to actively learn and contribute to HR strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Self-motivated and eager to explore various aspects of HR functions.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
