Recruiter: Carolyn Harris carolyn.harris@airliquide.com cell: 856-592-6201 Responsibilities Manage the new gas plant and operations at the Micron Boise ID1 location Complies with Regulatory Requirements:
Operates the facility in compliance with all governmental regulations and Air Liquide policies. Maintains all necessary licenses and permits. Provides all regulatory training and maintains documentation. Reports and investigates all incidents and ensures corrective actions are completed in a timely manner. Ensures that all performance evaluations, hiring, promotions and assignments are free of any form of discrimination.
Operates the Plant Safely and Reliably:
Meets or exceeds company safety standards including the fundamental safety rules. Owns Key Operating Documents. Ensures updated PID's at all times. Displays detailed understanding of content and significance of each document. Makes plant and process decisions and performs process troubleshooting. Establishes clear delegation of this authority to trained subordinates. Fosters positive customer relationships, internal and external. Ensures delivery of the quality and quantity of product required by the business. Partners with the Reliability Team to execute predictive and preventive maintenance to eliminate failures and unplanned maintenance. Partners with the Reliability Team to execute planned maintenance turnarounds and unexpected events. Ensures plant staff are engaged in support of TAR planning. Sets and maintains high housekeeping standards to exemplify and improve the Air Liquide 5S image. Keeps plant hazard analysis (ARA & FMEA) current and displays thorough knowledge of possible hazards and associated safeguards. Compliance with EIS requirements. Understands and applies the elements of Process Safety and ensures all PSM requirements are met. Ensures Adherence to Management of Change procedure. Develops long and short term planning for improving safety, reliability and efficiency Maintains adherence with IMS requirements including compliance with current GTs and keeping EIS plans/PMs current Maintains Responsible Care certification as required Ensures all action items from audits and other sources assigned to the plant are completed on time. Ensures compliance to PM and PSM/RMP requirements. Ensures maintenance work is planned, scheduled, and completed effectively. Approves all critical work permits (hot work, confined space, etc.)
Develops and Leads People:
Models exemplary safety behavior, leads by personal example. Works to achieve "Zero Accidents" by taking a leadership role in safety. Conducts an annual performance review with each employee. Implements individual development plans annually and provides training and coaching to improve performance. Provides candid constructive input to management decisions and actively supports those decisions. Recruit employees; assign, direct and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence Instills a culture of strict adherence to operational policies and procedures. Completes Personal Development System goals as defined in annual review.
Manages Cost:
Understands, monitors, optimizes and is accountable for operating costs within authorized budget. This includes variable and fixed costs as well as capital budget. Identifies and implements opportunities to reduce costs within delegated authorization. Participates in the Capital Planning Process. This includes maintaining a long term capital improvement plan for reliability, growth, safety, environmental, and efficiency. Controls overtime within established limits. Continuously monitors and improves efficiency, availability, reliability and quality. Utilizes national purchasing agreements and frame agreements Works closely with the Reliability Team to develop annual maintenance budget including base run rate, special projects, equipment overhauls and annual TAR plans. Partners with Corporate Supply Management and Field Sourcing Specialists to insure the best value is obtained for all outsourced work and materials

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree with 3+ year's process/plant operations experience OR 10+ year's process industry experience required in lieu of degree. Ability to work extended hours and shift work as business needs dictate. On call nights, weekends and holidays as required. Infrequent travel - typically 2-4 trips per year. Technical and working understanding of the plant process - ASU operations Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating plants, including Process Safety Management, OSHA regulations, EPA regulations, EEOC guidelines, state and local requirements. Solid foundation in engineering/technical fundamentals and operations to accept/apply /challenge external technical recommendations Trained in process safety elements and process safety management Knowledgeable and trained in root cause analysis and is able to lead investigations. Computer literacy - familiarity with MS Office package, able to remotely access Intranet and learn to use internal systems such as Maximo and Oracle Cost Reporting, ACE Online Able to deliver and explain training material to operating personnel. Extremely organized and effective at time management - able to establish and maintain a plant filing system and control of engineering documents. Ability to read and red-line key operating documents. Displays mechanical and electrical aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting. Working knowledge of commercial agreements and Electronics customer relations. Excellent communication and team leadership skills. General understanding of accounting principles and working knowledge of plant operating budget. Knowledgeable in general maintenance management processes and procedures include work management, planning and scheduling, pm compliance and TAR planning Knowledgeable in the capital process including ACE submittal, simple economic analysis
