Service Contract Act (SCA) Position

Hourly Rate: $17.20-$19.50

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The OA/CTS (Admissions) Clerk performs complex administrative tasks using a computer for admissions related duties.
  • The OA/CTS Clerk coordinates office services and administrative activities for Job Corps center; interprets operating policies; exercises independent judgment in the resolution of administrative problems.
  • Assists the Manager with preparations and arrangements for special events.
  • Establishes and maintains confidential files and records.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma with at least three years practical experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.

Additional Requirements: Ability to perform administrative duties without immediate and constant supervision. Ability to type accurately at a fast speed. Proficient in the use of a personal computer; working knowledge of software applications such as MS Word, Excel. Thorough knowledge of office procedures. Good organizational skills. Ability to deal effectively with the public and government officials.
