Job Overview
This position is responsible for the support and administration of Company employee benefit programs (such as Pension, 401(k), Group Medical, Pharmacy, Dental, Life, Vision Care, Long-Term Disability, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Care Plans and Employee Assistance Program). In addition, is required to develop a working knowledge of the Company's benefit package, the related governance, integrations with information systems, payroll, compensation, workers compensation, human resources business partners, shares services functions, and leave and accommodation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supports benefit plan administration including benefits eligibility, amounts and duration, leave and disability compliance and reporting, benefits administrative reporting, validation, exception management, activities for newly eligible employees, ongoing participation and routine enrollment transactions, and retirement/termination process.
- Provides subject operational and administrative matter expertise to teammate questions or concerns regarding their benefits, resolving errors and exceptions while discerning the difference between routine questions and more complex matters that require additional levels of support to further enhance teammate appreciation and value of their company benefits.
- Coordinates with vendors who have been hired to conduct plan administration including insurance companies, benefit and claims administrators, record keepers and consultants to ensure that each vendor receives participant data required to support plan administration, and timely funding of plan contributions and insurance premiums.
- Assists with the annual open enrollment process for the company. Communicating and distributing open enrollment information and materials, provides updated and accurate information for enrollment decisions, completes audit reports to ensure all eligible employees receive enrollment information and validates benefits information within administration system.
- Administers absence management programs and related processes including FMLA (Family Medical Leave of Absence), paid leave, short and long-term disability, accommodations and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act).
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

- Ability for working in a fast paced, high energy environment of competing priorities with tight deadlines
- Ability to escalate issues as needed Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork and collaboration
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge aquired throught up to 12 months of work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or similar benefits-related professional certification is desired

In office 4 days a week in South Park. 1 day remote flexibility
