Pay Rate: $14.30/hr. without benefits

Duration: 6+ months

Work Hours: 11am - 7pm (5 days/every other weekend) you will only be scheduled to work 5 total days in a work week Sunday - Saturday.

Job Description:

• Bakes, roasts, broils and fries' meat, fish and fowl in the dietary department for Glasgow State Nursing Facility. Mixes and cooks' specialty dishes and delicate foods.
• Monitors the work of other dietary staff.
• Prepares, seasons and cooks' food for residents, employees, and visitors.
• Modifies diets, trims and cuts meat, fish and fowl following recipes and any physicians' orders provided by dietician.
• Performs taste and smell test and adjusts cooking temperatures, seasoning food by taste test and recipe.
• Inspects food in storage for spoilage/expiration date.
• Assures sanitary storage and maintains kitchen utensils.
