Position Overview

Experienced Assembly Technician with the ability to follow procedures and handle complex tasks. Proven ability to multitask and repair/maintain assembly equipment effectively to meet production goals. Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for maximum efficiency while promoting a safe work culture.

Schedule



  • Day shift - 12 hr rotating, 6am - 6pm
  • Night shift - 12 hr rotating, 6pm - 6am



Pay rate: $18/hr depending on experience

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Support a safety culture by following safety practices/procedures while actively identifying
  • safety concerns and participating in safety programs.
  • Ensure the quality of parts meet or exceeds customer specifications by actively engaging with the quality team.
  • Diagnose and trouble shoot equipment and make minor repairs to assembly machines.
  • Train new assembly operators on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement new assembly processes to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Perform good housekeeping within work area and ensure cleanliness.
  • Communicate unresolved issues in a timely manner to the appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure work orders are submitted and followed through to completion.
  • Ensure inventory of parts are available and on hand to complete all Preventative maintenance.
  • Ability to follow work instructions and perform related duties as directed by supervision.
  • Participate in Liquibox training programs.
  • Operate assembly machines and handle finished product including boxing, labeling, palletizing.
  • Provide support to other departments as directed by supervision.
  • Provide continual communication, guidance and technical assistance to assembly operators.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Document Daily Assembly Production Numbers and distribute to management.
  • Understand priority levels and shipping requirements to maximize efficiency in decision making to meet production goals.
  • Partner and Train with maintenance to help troubleshoot and repair assembly equipment.
  • Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Air adjustments, Air fitting replacements, Sensor adjustment
  • Trouble shooting pallet index jams
  • Basic alarms and troubleshooting of alarms
  • Air hose/ Line identification
  • Train to health checks and PM's
  • Gripper replacement and Pin replacement
  • Expectations for this role will be dependent on experience and on the job training

Experience and Qualifications

Education



  • High school Diploma, GED
  • Previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Attention to detail and mathematical aptitude
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds and stand/walk for entire shift duration (12 hours) Equipment
