Skilled Trades Job Details: Responsibilities: * Perform general maintenance and repairs in units, common areas, and grounds. * Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently. * Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. * Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and report them to the Property Manager. * Ensure that all work orders and maintenance requests are documented and completed within a timely manner. * Complete unit turns as soon as possible after the unit is vacated. * Perform carpentry tasks such as hanging doors, installing cabinets, and repairing walls and ceilings. * Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and groundskeeping duties as needed. * Ensure the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times. * Comply with all safety policies and procedures. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Must be available for emergency maintenance calls outside of regular working hours. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent. * At least 2 years of experience in general maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry. * Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. * Access to necessary tools to complete maintenance tasks (list below) * Ability to work independently and with a team. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions. * Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed. * Other duties as assigned Tool List (for experienced maintenance techs) Battery powered drill and bits |
