The Clinical Research Nurse II serves as the departmental and disease team resource for nursing considerations of research protocol initiation and implementation. The Clinical Research Nurse II performs basic and more advanced nursing skills, study coordination and data management of Phase I - IV inpatient and outpatient clinical research studies, industry trials and grant supported research in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), with a central focus on managing subject recruitment and enrollment, consistency of study implementation, data management and integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting. The Clinical Research Nurse II supports the coordination of procedures, tests and follow-up visits according to the protocol, provides education to research subjects and staff regarding the investigational study, and promotes patient safety for all research related activities working collaboratively with the physician investigators, Program and Division Managers, and a multi-disciplinary team.

Position: Clinical Research Nurse II- Full Time/ Day- 40 hours/week

Experience: 3+ years clinical research experience required in addition to 1+ years nursing experience.

Education: BSN/RN from an accredited school of professional nursing required.

Licensures/Certifications: Current Pennsylvania nursing license. Hospital credentialing as required. Successful completion of CITI Program required within 30 days of hire.
CPR and IATA training preferred within 30 days of hire. Certification in research through a professional organization preferred within 1 year of hire.
