Job Overview:
The Distribution Services Offerings Leader is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving growth in recurring revenue across all distribution channels within the compressed air and industrial services sector. This individual will lead a team of Distribution Sales Managers, develop and execute service-focused strategies, and partner cross-functionally to optimize service offerings and performance.
This role requires a dynamic leader with deep industry experience, strong business acumen, and a passion for enabling teams and partners to deliver exceptional customer value through service engagement.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
- Build and lead a team of Distribution Sales Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to increase service attachment rates and recurring revenue across all distribution channels.
- Partner with senior distribution leadership to align sales structures and incentives with recurring revenue goals.
Team Enablement & Development
- Coach and mentor Distribution Sales Managers to elevate their effectiveness in driving recurring revenue programs.
- Oversee delivery of product and sales skills training focused on recurring revenue models and services for distributor sales teams.
- Ensure ongoing development of distributor technicians and office personnel to support service growth initiatives.
Program Execution & Optimization
- Collaborate with product management to enhance recurring revenue offerings and drive distributor investment.
- Ensure all distributors have tools and visibility to identify unattached machines and convert them into service opportunities.
- Support retail channel initiatives to increase parts sales and improve customer data capture for long-term service engagement.
Performance Management
- Set and monitor team goals for bookings and revenue tied to recurring revenue models.
- Analyze performance metrics and market trends to continuously refine strategies and improve outcomes.
- Champion a data-driven approach to decision-making and sales execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field (Degree not required with 10+ years of relevant experience).
- 7+ years of experience in compressed air or industrial services, with a strong background in sales leadership or product management.
- Perfectly proficient in computer-related skills; Microsoft Office Suite applications and CRM software (Salesforece preferred).
- Experience in industrial rotating equipment services, sales and operation.
