Job Summary The Manufacturing Technical Support (MTS) Instrument Service Engineer is responsible for a variety of tasks associated with installations, maintenance, calibrations repairs, and other site duties associated with Werfen capital equipment (Neo IRIS, Echo Lumena, Replicant A and Replicant B) to ensure instrument Uptime in MTS. Maintaining uptime of these instrument platforms is critical to MTS efficiency and productivity for the investigation and troubleshooting of commercial products, material and component qualifications, improvement of existing products and processes, Root Cause Investigations and Projects in collaboration with R&D associated with new reagents and components. This role oversees all automated testing platforms that utilize Werfen Commercial product for Werfen developed assays in the MTS testing laboratory. Routine support for other laboratories at the Werfen Transfusion Technology Center is not part of this role's scope. The Manufacturing Technical Support (MTS) Instrument Service Engineer will be required to maintain training compliance according to SOP's for each of the unique platforms. The ability to service each platform and maintain uptime is the primary job responsibility. Responsibilities
