DaVita's Hospital Services Group (HSG) is seeking a Manager of Continuous Improvement to support transformative initiatives across our hospital-based dialysis programs. In this highly impactful role, you will drive operational excellence, implement process improvement strategies, and support the sustainable adoption of best practices across acute care settings.

Each year, DaVita delivers over 1.3 million treatments across 800+ hospitals nationwide. Our HSG team is committed to providing clinical excellence, enhancing efficiency, and delivering innovation at scale. The Manager of Continuous Improvement will play a critical role in enabling these outcomes by partnering with cross-functional leaders and teams to optimize hospital-based dialysis operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and support cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives focused on hospital dialysis operations.

  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to drive quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with divisional and local leadership to implement and sustain operational improvements.

  • Conduct data analysis to evaluate project performance and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Facilitate training workshops and coaching sessions to build internal CI capability.

  • Align with the Director of Continuous Improvement and broader HSG goals to ensure strategic consistency.

  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.

  • Travel to support assigned hospitals (~50% of the time).

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business, engineering, or a related field.

  • 2-4 years of experience supporting or leading process improvement projects with measurable outcomes.

  • Practical knowledge and application of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.

  • Ability to coach, influence, and lead without formal authority (no direct reports).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., MHA, MBA, MPH, MSIE).

  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).

  • Familiarity with Design Thinking principles and practices.

Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification - Preferred

  • No specific licensure required, but clinical or healthcare credentials are a plus.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Work Environment: Moderate noise level (business office setting); no routine exposure to hazardous materials.

  • Visual Requirements: Vision adequate to perform essential duties; may need to differentiate colors on a test strip.

  • Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

    • Capable of standing, sitting, walking, stretching, reaching, and using full range of body motion.

    • Manual dexterity for using computer and equipment.

The Salary Range for the role is $100,000.00-$147,000.00 per year.
