Adjunct Faculty- Diagnostic Medical Sonography

This Adjunct position is specific to the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Responsibilities will include instruction of current courses as well as development and instruction of new courses.

Adjunct Faculty demonstrates implementation of the mission, vision, goals and values of the College as well as the philosophy of the division in which assigned.

Responsible for development, planning, implementation and evaluation of the theoretical, laboratory, and/or clinical components of assigned courses. Demonstrates the ability to teach in individual, small and large group settings and functions under the direction of the Dean of the program. Participates in ongoing systematic evaluation activities as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Sonography (Undergraduate Level): Master's degree with minimum of eighteen (18) graduate credits completed in area of teaching responsibility required. Doctoral degree preferred. Previous teaching experience preferred. Appropriate credentials from ARDMS required in areas of teaching responsibility required. For positions working only as a secondary instructor for courses with a full-time faculty instructor, a Bachelor's degree in Sonography is required.
