The Field Marketing Specialist directly supports the Field Marketing Manager with on-the-road activations. Bringing the brand to life for our consumers is this role's number one focus. Running on the road, equipment, crew, and vendors. Providing brand support from the field to ensure consistency in how the brand shows up. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Act as a passionate brand ambassador, always embodying the brand's values and identity.
- Share knowledge about the brand's history, mission, and market differentiators with consumers and dealers.
- Foster positive relationships with customers to build brand loyalty and advocacy.
- Communicate brand key messages effectively and authentically to consumers.
- Training sales representatives and accounts as required on both the brand and product.
- Executes on the road strategy for the Brand via Event Truck and Trailer Countrywide
- Manages vendors and crew (contract) needed to support event strategy, individual event needs
- Sets up, runs, tears down for event needs
- Manages maintenance of on-the-road equipment
- Sales and Inventory management of the product in the trailer
- Partner with the sales team to activate at retailers for brand promotions and training
- Assists with the execution of campaign integration via event activation
- Assists with creating the schedule of events, reviewing efficiencies, needs, and best outcomes to meet the goal
- Time management is critical to the success of this role
- Responsible for tracking event performance, post-event reports
- Track expenses and submit expense reports promptly
- Exceptional communication with the field marketing manager, partners, and vendors
- Provide a positive image of the company when working with internal and external customers
- Travels to accounts, trade shows, and events as needed; potentially up to 90%
QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field, or comparable experience, a plus.
- 3-5 years of event activation experience
- Demonstrated ability to handle a wide variety of tasks.
- Exceptional intrapersonal skills and comfortable in front of internal and external customers.
- Resourceful, motivated for success, highly accountable, and takes a learner's perspective from failures.
- Sets priorities, meets deadlines, and follows up on assignments.
- Strong ability to collaborate and encourage cross-functional efforts with internal and external resources.
- Communicates effectively with co-workers, superiors, the general public, and others.
- Works well in teams and demonstrates ability to coordinate group efforts.
- Knowledge of standard office administration practices and procedures, including business correspondence formatting and the use of standard office equipment.
- Demonstrates exceptional time management and multi-tasking abilities.
- Interprets and implements policies and procedures related to the department.
- Analyzes and resolves office administrative and procedural problems.
- Must have the ability to exercise initiative, independent judgment, and discretion.
