THOR Solutions is actively seeking a highly motivated
mid-level Naval Architect to support marine engineering efforts for the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy, and commercial shipbuilding efforts in
Arlington, VA. An ideal candidate will have prior experience with U.S. Federal or commercial shipbuilding programs, standards, and regulations.
Typical Responsibilities:
Location: Primarily onsite at THOR office in Arlington/Shirlington, VA. Travel:Up to 10% travel is anticipated. Typical Physical Activity: Primarily desk/computer work in an office environment. May involve: repetitive motion. Periodic visits to waterfront/shipboard environments. May involve: traversing shipboard environments (e.g., confined spaces, ladders, hatches) or vision. Security Clearance Eligibility Required:This position requires a DoD Secret security clearance. A qualified candidate must either already possess an active or interim Secret security clearance (preferred);OR be eligible for a Secret security clearance upon hire.
