Genesis10 is currently seeking a Monitoring Specialist I for a 6 month contract role in the retail industry in Richfield, MN. This role is hybrid.
Tell us about your department:
The Overnight Monitoring (OM) team is a Corporate based group that is a part of Client's Retail Operations. The OM team's primary objective is to monitor Client retail stores across the country, to prevent burglaries, damage to property and vandalism. The OM team supports several internal customer groups and stakeholders across the enterprise, working closely with both internal and external partners to minimize and prevent product loss through theft. OM team is here to support and protect Client employees, customers, and facilities.
Project Description:
Assist the Overnight Monitoring team with CCTV monitoring/Alarm monitoring for all Client retail locations.
Position Summary/Job Description:
- * Monitor live active alarms for Client retail stores to prevent and report burglaries, attempted burglaries, damage to property, or vandalism.
- * We monitor locations using CCTV through Genetec, regarding any credible threats or potential risks to Client employees, facilities, and our customers.
- * Monitor High-Risk territories using our BURG NETs, (as a preventive method), to prevent burglaries or risk to property.
- * Monitor crowd control for major releases or events (Sony/Xbox releases, Black Friday, Etc.) These releases or events will be picked in conjunction with Territory AP Directors.
- * Notify Key Holders when to physically respond to a store location due to a successful burglary, attempted burglary, vandalism, or damage to property that needs an immediate response and attention.
- * When an incident occurs, the OM team will collect pictures, videos, and create a narrative to assist in the collection of evidence, along with details of what occurred. Our team can provide information gathered in real-time to Key Holders or PD.
- * In the case of both successful and unsuccessful burglaries, our team will provide overnight support, to remind stores leaders to fill out a Burglary Follow-Up Checklist. This will help store leaders to remember their responsibilities following a burglary and we will attach the Burglary Follow-Up to all successful burglary emails.
- * Send a Facilities SOP in our burglary emails to leaders, for successful & unsuccessful burglaries, arson, or vandalism, to help remind store leaders to open up a facilities ticket if there is damage to stores.
- * Act as an initial liaison between the stores local Law Enforcement, to be handed off to the store's local leaders.
- * Assist in keeping a safe environment for our employees and customers.
Skills Overview:
- CCTV experience, understanding of alarm systems or programs (Securitas, ADT, LVT)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Outlook)
- Analyze data and create incident recaps
- Ability to work well in team environment
- Interpersonal and Collaboration skills.
What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?
- Communication skills
- Experience with CCTV
- Ability to work in collaboration & independently at times.
Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay: $27.00 to $28.00/hour
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
