Assembly Technician

• Process parts using chemical and manual cleaning methods, including wiping, scrubbing, masking, blasting, coating, drying, and baking.
• Operate equipment and perform tasks such as machine operation, etching, and chemical processing.
• Follow SOPs, Lean practices, and company policies to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Prepare and maintain chemical tanks according to recipes and safety standards.
• Handle and dispose of hazardous chemicals safely, following proper protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas while practicing 6S standards.
• Participate in training, safety programs, and monthly communication meetings.
• Perform quality checks and report on progress toward goals.
• Lift materials weighing 25-50lbs as required.

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, materials, or equivalent hands-on work preferred.
• Experience with media blasting, quality assurance, and parts cleaning/coating technologies.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• AA degree in a technical field.
• Knowledge of Kaizen or Lean practices a plus.
• Prior experience in the parts cleaning industry highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with an eagerness to learn and expand skills.
