Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Rockledge, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Responsibility for ensuring the stable and safe flow of materials, operating industrial equipment to safely move materials around the warehouse, storage yard, or similar locations, in compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Programs and quality assurance systems to support the achievement of the sites goals and business objectives.
  • Storage of goods and materials, inspects product for accuracy, and safely moves it to ensure timely and complete delivery.
  • Complying with instructions and prescribed routines, methods, and procedures.
  • Perform duties associated with packing totes and entering them into the A/X Dynamics system.
  • Perform duties to move coils, boxes, goods, and materials.
  • Maintain stock and 5S in satellite cardboard and supply areas.
  • Locate material and safely operate a forklift to load and position totes.
  • Complete packing system and other documentation noting alloy, size, weight, and customer information for labels as needed.
  • Maintains material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and reporting operator repairs to supervisor.
  • Stage, Move, Load, and unload finished and unfinished products in a safe and efficient manner
  • Determine warehouse storage locations in keeping with the general warehouse layout and to ensure accessibility.
  • Maintain the WIP storage and warehouse area and ensure the areas are clean & safe.
  • Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain a specific level of knowledge about new developments, requirements, and policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to maintain workflow or respond to emergency conditions.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition by 5 S standards.
  • Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
  • This position operates in a manufacturing production floor environment.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $17.10/hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week (1st shift) M-F, 7:00 am-3:00pm.

Length: Temp to Hire.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • There will be a need to enter the production floor and employees may be subject to hazards including odors, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibrations, noise, and Temperature.
  • This needs the ability to safely maneuver throughout the plant and properly always wear safety gear.
  • Frequently standing for long periods, walking, use of hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands or arms, repetitive motion, close visual acuity, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Employee frequently lifts or moves up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lifts or moves up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional sitting, step up, or crawl.
