Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite for our client in Danbury, CT. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Monitor Systems Availability in the Data Center and report System failure to appropriate support personnel.
• Set DHCP Reservations for devices upon request.
• Monitor Windows Server Security patching and Troubleshoot issues.
• Decommission Windows Servers
• Monitor and respond to Service Desk tickets via Micro Focus Service Manager
• Monitor System Backup logs.
• Process File Restores upon request.
• Process LAN ID requests and terminations.
• Maintain record keeping for LAN ID's
• Administer Shared Folder access (Windows environment)
• Tidal Job Scheduler Monitoring - Ensure successful job processing.
• Monitor Network Availability - Network Operations Center (NOC)
• Perform First level Network Outage checks/Troubleshooting.
• Data Center Environmental Monitoring & Testing
• Light use of Powershell, VBScript or similar scripting language.
• Utilize Orion Solarwinds, for System/Network monitoring.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $28.00 / hr

Hours: 16 hrs / Week (1^st shift) 7am - 3:30pm

Length: Temporary (6 months)

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Active Directory.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Tidal Enterprise Scheduler or Job Scheduling tool.
• Minimum 2 years of Systems management experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Systems monitoring experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with MS Excel.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with TCP/IP.

Preferred Skills:

• Self-driven individual
• Able to work under minimum supervision.
• Must have good verbal and written skills.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
