*Job Description: Patient Services Representative (Remote with Location Restrictions)* Join a dynamic healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional service to patients and providers. As a Patient Services Representative, you will play a key role in supporting pharmacy operations and ensuring a seamless experience for patients. *Key Responsibilities* * Conduct outbound calls to patients and physician offices regarding medication orders, pharmacy services, and non-clinical inquiries (8-10 calls/hour). * Accurately update patient records with insurance and pharmaceutical information; collect missing data and notify appropriate teams for account updates. * Create and manage patient activity logs to track follow-ups, transactions, inquiries, complaints, and resolutions. * Initiate service discharge requests, contact physician offices, and coordinate patient communications such as mailed letters. * Fulfill client- and pharma-specific tasks to meet customer expectations and service standards. * Collaborate with disease-focused teams to deliver best-in-class customer service. * Connect patients with pharmacists for clinical counseling and inquiries. * Handle special tasks including drug shipment notifications and Adverse Drug Event reporting. * Escalate calls to clinicians, insurance verification teams, and other specialized departments as needed. * Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives; may provide bilingual support and be cross-trained in other departments (e.g., enrollment, support, specialized teams). *Work Location* This is a *remote position with location restrictions*. Candidates must reside within 40 minutes of one of the following locations: * Florida * Canton, MI * Frisco, TX * Pittsburgh, PA *Required Skills & Qualifications* * Proven customer service experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, PBM, or call center environments. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and ability to learn proprietary systems. * Strong communication and active listening skills. * Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities. * High school diploma or equivalent. * Comfortable wearing a headset throughout the workday. * Must have high-speed internet (minimum 100 Mbps download speed) and be able to hardwire connection via Ethernet (6ft cable provided). *Preferred Qualifications* * Experience in healthcare or pharmacy settings. * Familiarity with order entry and data entry processes. * Previous experience handling outbound calls. *Soft Skills* * Active listening and empathy * Adaptability and openness to feedback * Ability to shift gears quickly and multitask effectively *Experience Level* *Entry-Level* - Ideal for candidates looking to grow within the healthcare and pharmacy services industry. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
