Inova Schar Clinic - Oncology team is seeking a dedicated Manager, Research Applications to join the team. This role will be full-time Monday - Friday, Day shift, hybrid.

Program Manager Job Responsibilities:



  • Plans the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
  • Communicates with clients and other stakeholders to gain community support for the program and to solicit input to improve the program.
  • Effectively plans, develops, implements and evaluates budget. Monitors and manages budget to meet needs of program, within plan.
  • Targets potential grant, funding and/or revenue sources. Writes applications and proposals to support new and ongoing programs.
  • Develops a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintains all administrative records pertinent to program goals and system wide policies.
  • Oversees the collection and maintenance of records pertaining to of the program for statistical purposes according to the confidentiality/privacy policy of the organization.
  • Develops appropriate reports to effectively communicate program outcomes and successes for internal and external promotion and requirements.
  • Develops products and marketing strategies to promote program, increase participation and ensure effectiveness.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Education: Bachelor degree in Healthcare Administration or related field or Associates and 2 additional years of relevant experience or High School Diploma/GED and 4 additional years of work experience.
  • Experience: Three (3) years' experience in developing, implementing, coordinating or managing programs.
