National Grid is hiring a Lead HR Business Partner. This hybrid position can sit in either our Waltham, MA, Brooklyn, NY, Albany, NY or Syracuse, NY office. Job Purpose
The Lead Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) role will be an integral part of the IT&D HR team and broader Group Functions HR team. The successful candidate will bring high energy, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of implementing strategic people plans with a passion for talent management. The HRBP should have the ability to be both strategic and operational, owning the people plan aligned to the function's objectives, as well as managing front-line issues through to resolution. This role will play a critical part in creating and supporting high-performing teams, driving an inclusive culture, and supporting engagement across IT & Digital. In this role, you will establish yourself as a go-to strategic HR partner with the IT leaders you support. You will work closely and collaboratively across our HR Centers of Excellence (employee relations, talent management, reward, recruiting strategy, and professional development) to provide the necessary people support for business success. The HRBP will support business leaders in anticipating their short-, medium-, and long-term talent, leadership, and organizational effectiveness requirements to deliver their objectives. More Information Salary New England MA $123,000- $145,000 a year Downstate NY $132,000 - $155,000 a year Upstate NY $110,000 - $129,000 a year This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
