JOB TITLE: Senior Application Developer JOB LOCATION: 1892 Preston White Drive, Reston, VA 20191 (full-time telecommuting permitted) EMPLOYER: American College of Radiology JOB DUTIES: Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining applications using various programming languages and tools. Working closely with designers, business analysts, other developers, and platform architects, participate in multidisciplinary planning, designing, and developing interconnected software systems and platforms. Responsible for organizing and performing work projects in support of overall applications department objectives. Apply judgment to analyze complex situations where procedures and techniques are not clearly defined and make recommendations on policies, procedures and/or programs. Provide reporting support for the technical management team. Research, analyze, and design system enhancements. Maintain technical best practices. JOB REQUIREMENTS: This job requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 2 years of related experience in any occupation related to software development. Job also requires experience in each of the following: 2 years of experience with DICOM and HL7 standards; Experience with at least one relational database and one non-relational database; Hands-on experience with front-end (JavaScript, TypeScript) and backend (.Net Core) coding required; Experience with OOPs concepts and Design patterns; Experience developing applications or systems using REST APIs; Experience in Agile software development practices.
