We are seeking a dedicated Sr Schedule Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules, as well as providing regular status reports. Your excellent communication skills will be essential as you interact with various team members, including development leads, engineering, procurement, construction, and project management.

What You Will Do:

  • Participate in resume reviews, interviews, and decisions on new hires

  • Orientation and training of new Planning/Scheduling resources on Enbridge systems and standards

  • Ongoing periodic training of existing Planning/Scheduling staff on scheduling process, reporting and standards

  • Presentations to Projects Managers and Subject Matter Experts on understanding project schedules and expectations of team roles in the schedule process

  • Coordination with Project Management Office on Standards, Procedures and Primavera server issues

  • Work with Portfolio Group on Monthly Power BI submittals

  • Lead preparation of Level 1 schedules with Development Teams to identify over Schedule support projects throughout project lifecycle (development, planning, execution and closeout)

  • Maintenance of Oracle ISD and Forecast monthly updates

  • Project Control Team Guidance on P6 server requirements (project set up, project nodes, baseline files, construction schedules, monthly status updates)

  • Integrate cost control and scheduling functions and promote positive engagement of project controls team members

  • Support of Supervisors in clarifying responsibilities of Planner/Schedulers to ensure compliance with PMO Project Control Standards

  • Quality control / auditing of Schedule reporting

Who You Are:

  • Over 10 years of experience in development and management of schedules and other project controls functions

  • Experience with projects in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial and/or Power industries

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or fifteen or more years of scheduling experience in the energy field or related industry

  • Knowledge of advanced Primavera Software functions (Superuser)

  • Possess a solid understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and methodology

  • Ability to work independently with a reasonable level of supervision in a team environment

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills required to support Project Control Teams

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time. Physical fitness and able to work at heights (climbing wind turbine) and ability to successfully pass working at heights training and certification and wear full fall arrest harness and related equipment

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
