The Customer Support organization is responsible for the installation, qualification, repair and maintenance of the ASML systems at customer site and is responsible for the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer. Local site Customer Support branches perform qualification, repair and maintenance for the customers within the specific region.

Job Description

The DUV Preparation Coordinator bears responsibility to ensure adequate preparation for scheduled down actions, machine upgrade actions, Field Change Order implementation, Preventative Maintenance and any other maintenance to the machine required. While preparing this, the coordinator bears in mind fleet availability, parts and tooling readiness, people-power attainability and expertise, and sequence dynamics. The role is vital in ensuring smooth operation by assisting all parties involved and therefore requires a high capacity for multi-tasking and a great flexibility.

Your main responsibilities as a Preparation Coordinator:

  • Ensure part & tool availability and collaborate with CSCM on material ordering, creating demands, stocking strategies.

  • Track and monitor upcoming preventative maintenance, module upgrades, field change orders, and more

  • Assist the shift leads, Engineer-In-Charge (EIC) in maintaining high machine availability

  • Be able to work independently under a moderate stress level

  • Be able to manage own accountability on deadlines

  • Technical aptitude to understand procedures

  • Analysis and reporting on Materials Availability, while understanding the Materials Requirements Planning logic and dependencies with other processes and departments in the supply chain.

  • Leading or participating in continuous improvement projects towards getting the operations Lean and cost effective

  • Communicate with teams both local and worldwide to ensure correct fleet configuration

  • Leads and/or participates in reviews.

  • Updates stakeholders with status of work items.

  • Leads and/or participates in wrap-up.

  • Leading or participating in continuous improvement projects towards getting the operations Lean and cost effective

The holder of this position reports to the DUV CS Manager and provides direct support to internal support operations.

Education

  • BS engineering degree or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience will be accepted.

  • 2+ years of working experience required in lieu of degree

Experience

  • Engineers with at least 1 years of ASML DUV lithography experience preferred

  • Experience in SAP, project management or logistics highly preferred

Personal skills

  • Ability to motivate, drive, steer and influence without power at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.

  • Ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlines.

  • Clear and effective communication skills required

  • Open for cultural differences and able to work with a site of different cultures and WOWs

  • Verbal and written language skills in English.

  • Pro-active, high sense of ownership and drive

  • Able to adapt to working with a highly diverse team and adapt to cultural differences

Additional Skills

  • In-depth SAP proficiency & Microsoft Office required

  • Position requires to work occasional late shifts, weekends, and holidays

  • Position requires up to 10% travel

  • Must be willing to work flexible to meet the business needs.

  • Valid driver's license and passport required.

  • Ability to travel in US and internationally.
