Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Kennesaw, GA and Addison, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Complete and track compliance deliverables to ensure applications adhere to policies and standards as well as local laws, rules, and regulations Support compliance deliverables and infrastructure requests, vendors, development teams, and technology managers to ensure timely completion of compliance activities Partner with control functions, risk management, and global information security teams to complete compliance deliverables effectively efficiently and well within the SLA's Ensure System of Record (SOR) data is accurate and complete Collaborate with application production support and third-party management partners for sourced and third-party managed applications to provide technical direction and ensure alignment with bank objectives and SLAs Participate in third-party development of internally hosted applications, ensuring adherence to bank policies and control requirements Develop Enhanced Remediation Programs (ERPs) and drive their execution with effective plans and realistic, yet aggressive timelines to mitigate bank risk Manage infrastructure and upcoming exceptions Provide guidance and lead discussions with support teams and clients to facilitate informed decision-making Supervise application assigned GBS proxies and/or contractor delegates to ensure their work complies with bank standards and policies Operate in a matrixed environment across development, production support, infrastructure, risk, and business lines to identify and remediate risk and compliance issues Requirements: 5+ years of experience Experience managing onshore and offshore teams Proven ability to drive task completion across teams Skilled in overseeing multiple tasks and deliverables Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong understanding of bank risk and compliance standards Background in software development or application production support Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint Accountable for the completion of risk governance required deliverables (RISE) and vulnerabilities (Continuous Monitoring) Certify the accuracy of application records at least every 180 days for applications in the following lifecycle stages: In development, in production, projected retire, retired, retain application data, or retain data Application development Architecture Collaboration DevOps practices Risk Management Analytical thinking Data management Financial management Solution delivery process Technical strategy development Agile/JIRA practices Automation Result orientation Solution design Test engineering Desired skills: Familiarity with the RISE, CM, BRE, APPHQ, ART, ARM, PCAT, CPT, GRM, BT Converge, Trident - Client Proprietary tools Project Management, Release Management, Change Management experience Data analysis and reporting skills Pay range: $50.42 - $58.42 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
