The Strategic Finance team at Abnormal AI plays a critical role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring the company's long-term success.

Role Overview: As a Strategic Finance Manager, you will be responsible for building, managing, and maintaining key financial models that drive the company's strategic decisions. You will partner closely with senior leadership and various departments, such as GTM, R&D, and other business teams to provide financial insights that support our go-to-market strategies, operational efficiency, and overall growth strategies. This role will also involve enhancing our forecasting processes, creating executive-level reports, and driving key performance metrics.

• Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build and maintain complex financial models that support strategic decision-making for GTM, R&D, and other business teams. Comfortable taking in problem statements from the business and building financial models from scratch in order to help solve those problems and enhance decision making.
• Long Range Planning: Develop and refine long-term forecasting models to support company-wide strategic planning and resource allocation.

Financial Benchmarking: Drive the benchmarking of our financial profile against public company peers to ensure we are optimizing our investments as we approach IPO. Monitor industry trends and identify key valuation metrics that correlate with premium valuations, guiding financial planning to maximize shareholder returns. Will participate in financial due diligence of future M&A and capital markets activities.

• Business Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to inform key business decisions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with all of Finance, GTM, R&D, and other business teams to guide and influence strategic choices and operational strategies.
• Reporting & Metrics: Develop high-quality financial reports and dashboards for executives, summarizing key business drivers into essential metrics that highlight the company's financial performance.
• AI-Driven Process Improvement: Leverage AI and emerging technologies to reimagine financial processes and modeling, enabling smarter, faster, and more scalable strategic planning.

• Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, investment banking, corporate development or management consulting. Prior experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, or high-growth tech companies is a plus.
• Skills: Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, with a strong ability to turn data into actionable insights. Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, SQL & Python is required. In this role, you will need to build from scratch and partner with the necessary teams to gather information and solve each problem.
• Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Early adopter mindset with AI and automation, embracing new tools to accelerate output, scale processes, and set a culture of innovation.

• SaaS Metrics: Strong experience with SaaS business models and metrics, with experience in a fast-growth environment.
• Industry Experience: Deep knowledge in the cybersecurity industry and familiarity with the challenges and opportunities in this space.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities effectively. Taking ownership and working with ambiguity is important in this role.
