Position Summary:

The Marketing & Digital Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting U.S. marketing plans with a strong emphasis on digital marketing, creative design, and tactical execution of campaigns. This role plays a key part in delivering branding initiatives, digital content, and product launch support that enhance the company's growth and reinforce the company's presence in the market.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management, you will manage multi-channel digital campaigns, create engaging marketing assets, and maintain the company's digital presence (including website and social media). By combining digital expertise with creative design and market insights, you will contribute directly to business growth and the successful execution of U.S. marketing strategies.

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Digital Marketing Execution: Plan, develop, and manage multi-channel digital campaigns, including email marketing, landing pages, social media scheduling, awareness day campaigns, and live video content.
  • Website & Content Management: Maintain and update the company's websites (WordPress) with new content, graphics, and product information in coordination with the development team.
  • Creative & Graphic Design: Design and edit marketing assets such as brochures, sales collateral, trade show graphics, and digital content using Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Campaign Development & Analytics: Support the creation, launch, and performance tracking of targeted digital campaigns; generate periodic reports on digital performance and project status for senior management.
  • Branding & Sales Support: Develop and distribute marketing and sales materials aligned with product strategies, ensuring the sales team has the tools needed to drive growth.
  • Competitive Insights: Conduct market and competitive analyses to inform digital positioning, messaging, and counter-strategies.
  • Events & Trade Shows: Manage digital and creative elements of trade shows, including booth graphics, event campaigns, and product demonstrations.
  • Compliance & Review: Oversee the internal review and approval process for marketing content to ensure consistency with regulatory and brand standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with agencies, vendors, and internal teams (Sales, Regulatory & Quality, Operations) to develop and execute integrated communication strategies.
  • Product Management Support: Contribute to product lifecycle management through marketing input, regulatory-related updates (package inserts, labeling, quick reference guides), and competitive research to support product positioning.
  • General Marketing Support: Support training activities for distributors and sales reps; manage CRM data entry, activity tracking, and reporting; and provide timely updates to management on marketing initiatives.
  • Travel: Participate in trade shows and marketing events as needed (approx. 10%).


Qualifications Required:

Candidates should possess the following experience, abilities, and attributes

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Biology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of marketing experience, ideally in diagnostics, medical devices, or healthcare.
  • Strong background in digital marketing and creative design is highly preferred.
  • Digital Marketing Skills: Hands-on experience with email marketing, social media management across key platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, TikTok), and campaign analytics.
  • Graphic Design Skills: Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) to design both print and digital assets.
  • Web Tools: Experience managing and updating websites in WordPress, with the ability to create landing pages and optimize digital content.
  • Technical Tools: Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to create clear, engaging, and audience-specific content.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across Sales, Regulatory, Operations, and external vendors.
  • Professionalism: High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to represent the company professionally in internal and external interactions.
  • Mindset: Creative and strategic thinker who can also execute tactically, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility: Self-starter with initiative, capable of working independently while contributing to team goals.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel approximately 10% for trade shows and marketing events.
  • Work Location: This position is based in Medford, NY; however, remote will be considered for exceptional candidates within the U.S.
