This Manufacturing Engineer will perform the daily repair engineering of service shops to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. They will have comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in the own part of the function. They will also be responsible for providing technical support / initiative in the organization.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating & issuing of the repair work orders in Oracle system for inspection and repair of rotary machinery including gas turbine.
  • Identifying of potential spares for repair items, to advance the spares procurement.
  • Preparation of the scope of work and costing estimation including Inspection and completion reports for each job orders.
  • Standardizing inspection & repair routings and check forms
  • Providing the disposition to eNCR ( Non Conformance Report) and work closely with operations team to improve repair process
  • Managing plans to achieve technical requirements, scheduled and contract commitments
  • Participatingin technical contract review and provide necessary data / input to Com-ops team to bid for contracts.
  • Driving continuous process improvement using initiatives but supporting process troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor's in mechanical engineering or similar
  • 5 years of engineering experience within an industrial/technical environment such as oil and gas, chemicals, manufacturing, etc.
  • experience in a repair engineering role with a focus on a service shop for rotary machinery preferred
  • Have experience in servicing gasturbines and or rotating equipment preferred
  • Have significantknowledgeorexperiencewithspecialprocesses (welding, brazing,coating, etch) preferred
  • Able to work flexible working hours
  • Have good computer and systems skills including Microsoft office and PowerPoint
