Qualifications EDUCATION Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from a college or school of pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or equivalent required. Advanced degree (e.g. MS, MHA, MBA) preferred. EXPERIENCE Five years of relevant pharmacy experience and two years of leadership or supervisory experience is required. Completion of an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency program, and if available, a PGY2 program in an area relevant to the position are preferred and may completely or partially fulfill the above experience requirements. LICENSURE Eligibility for pharmacist licensure in the state(s) as determined by the scope of the position is required. Board certification is preferred if certification relevant to the position is available. SPECIAL SKILLS Strong project management and problem-solving skills desired. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate work between diverse groups are essential. Knowledge of health information technology pertinent to medication use is preferred.
