1. 5-10+ years of Windows System Administration this includes managing Windows Server 2016 or higher, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and general server maintenance. 2. 7+ years of Internet Information Services (IIS) for application infrastructure support. (Apache web application nice to have) 3. 5+ Years of Scripting (PowerShell) is essential for automation and troubleshooting tasks. Other Important Skills: 4. .NET is also a required skill 5. Tomcat has a known vulnerability and need to patch it - today the application teams don't have access to the DMZ because it's public facing, current resource today has helped them mature/automate their patching strategy. Another nice to have. *Description* This position is responsible for engineering, implementing, maintaining, administering, and troubleshooting add-on software in support of the client's application infrastructure. These add-on software products include Web Servers, Middleware, File Transfer, Content Publishing, DNS/DHCP Services, Certificate provisioning, Load Balancing and Application Delivery appliances, Application Firewalls, Enterprise Integration Broker software, etc. The position performs and coordinates engineering, installation, and support efforts to ensure that business solutions are implemented and supported requiring infrastructure integration services. The position works closely with Infrastructure Solutions personnel to insure proper engineering, implementation and configuration of new technologies. The position works closely with the Development Services, TO Security, other Computing Services teams, and various application portfolios to insure implementation of application integration strategies. The position also works closely with the IT Service Center and Infrastructure Operations Center to ensure that proper procedures are in place to support end-user requests and to populate the IT Knowledge Base. The position provides technical expertise and guidance to maintain the performance, reliability, stability compliance, and security of the client's production application infrastructure. *Skills* iis, windows administration, .net, scripting powershell, dynatrace, splunk, data center migration *Additional Skills & Qualifications* * Team supports a lot of web applications, specifically the shared applications, hosted on a single environment * They support the infrastructure on this, so they will open a ticket on their team * Troubleshooting where they have to dig in to what's happening on their application and give them insights * Also support dedicated environments like their online customer care (pay bills and report outages)--> Understand infrastructure, IS and .NET --> help move traffic around or move code * Customer Care team has heavy demand from ASCEND, sometimes their solution is to throw more infrastructure on it *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $62.00/hr.
