Summary: Directs the development, implementation, and growth of an organization's programs. Oversees program operations including budgets, personnel management, and development, and quality management. Identifies goals and assures the effectiveness of programs. Responsibilities: Responsible for all aspects of clinical programs, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and performance.
Develops programs that meet the needs of the patient population, and tracks progress against stated goals or milestones.
Develops the organization's patient care philosophy and standards of care; assists in the development of personalized approaches or treatments as needed.
Coordinates the delivery of patient care by assigning patients to appropriate personnel or teams.
Ensures that activities are in compliance with organizational standards and external regulations; prepares and delivers reports to auditors, accrediting or licensing bodies, or other authorities.
Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination. Supervision is often provided through a team of subordinate managers.
Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management.
Establishes departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization. Other information: EDUCATION *Master's degree in rehab related field or MA.
