Optum Insight seeks a skilled and innovative Optimal Practice, Sr Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience/knowledge of various RCM roles and a passion for developing scalable and efficient process improvement initiatives. This is a full-time remote position supporting East Region physician groups. We offer a collaborative and inclusive work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Primary Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Optimal Practice Sr Manager include:

  • Lead functional team and projects
  • Sought out as expert
  • Serves as a leader/ mentor
  • Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
  • Identify automation opportunities
  • Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues
  • Performs complex conceptual analyses
  • Reviews work performed by others and provides recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvement initiatives to mitigate future denials and improve overall performance
  • Forecasts and plans resource requirements
  • Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in RCM
  • Proven experience as an RCM leader or supportive similar role
  • Solid client facing experience
  • Solid knowledge of RCM front, middle and back areas
  • Must have proficiency using a PC in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Electronic Medical Records

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid time management and organizational skills, ability to handle concurrent and complex projects
  • Self starter, able to work independently without supervision
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Solid communication and teamwork skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
