Job Description:

Resolution Economics is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our growing team! The Accounts Receivable Clerk supports the firm's financial health by managing client billing and collections.

We have an immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Clerk on site in our Los Angeles (Century City), CA office.

Salary Scale:

The Accounts Receivable Clerk is paid an annual salary between $65,000 and $80,000, subject to all required deductions and withholdings, and not including the value of benefits under any ResEcon-maintained benefit plans. The Accounts Receivable Clerk position is classified as exempt from overtime pay requirements under applicable federal and state law.

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will report directly to the Finance and Accounting Director. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Generate and issue accurate client invoices monthly through Salesforce and accounting software
  • Support Partners in accurate time entry for revenue accruals
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Resolve billing discrepancies by working closely with project managers and client services teams
  • Maintain accurate client account records and documentation
  • Assist with client onboarding
  • Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper approvals and coding
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with expense reimbursements and corporate credit card reconciliations
  • Maintain organized files and records in compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Handle sensitive and/or confidential information with honesty and integrity


Job Qualifications:



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel)
  • Must be reliable with strong time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of project-based billing (time & materials, retainers, fixed fee) is preferred
  • Salesforce experience a plus


Education and Work Experience:



  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, accounts payable, or other clerical accounting functions
  • Experience in professional services, litigation or consulting environment a plus
