Cherry Picker Operator

Staffmark is hiring! Reach new heights in your warehouse career! A growing distribution facility in Moody, AL is seeking a skilled Cherry Picker Operator. If you're comfortable working at heights, have forklift experience, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, this temp-to-hire position could be your next career move.

Pay: $16.50/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Operate a stand-up forklift and cherry picker reaching 30+ feet
• Pick orders accurately using handheld RF scan guns
• Stack pallets and boxes with precision, including overhead lifting
• Label pallets and boxes according to shipping instructions
• Troubleshoot pick errors and notify supervisors of issues
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and remain on your feet for long periods
• Move between departments as needed and work occasional overtime
• Follow all safety guidelines and company core values

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months recent cherry picker or forklift experience
• Strong attention to detail with high picking accuracy and efficiency
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and stay motivated
• Physical stamina for lifting, reaching, bending, and walking throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and solid work ethic
• Basic math skills and ability to follow shipping instructions
