3D Modeler (Mid) - JSF/F-35

Summary/Objective

The ideal candidate will serve as a 3D modeler responsible for creating 3D models and animations to be incorporated into simulation environments but is also flexible enough to be able to contribute to 2D imagery manipulation as needed.

Essential Functions

• Modeling and texturing models for a real-time data-driven 3D simulation environment.
• Generate accurate 3D models from scratch or modify/optimize existing models.
• Create and map photorealistic textures on to 3D models setup for real-time.
• Edit and manipulate geospatial images such as satellite imagery.

Specific Required Skills:

• Experience with 3D Modeling Software: Autodesk 3ds Max, Maya, Presagis Creator, or equivalent
• Experience with 2D Graphics Software: Photoshop (Preferred), Illustrator
• Portfolio demonstrating work experience or personal projects. Portfolio must demonstrate current skill level if recent work is considered classified.
• Art test demonstrating skill proficiency may be required.

Desired Skills:

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

This position has no travel requirement.

Work Environment

This is not a remote position. Work is located at an on-site customer location.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer animation or other relevant degree.

Preferred Education and Experience: Master's degree in computer science, computer animation or other relevant degree.

Modeling and Simulation experience.
