Overview
The Director of Epic Beaker and Ancillary Clinical Systems is a corporate leadership position responsible for the oversight, planning, implementation and ongoing optimization of Epic Beaker and ancillary clinical systems that support Beaker. This role requires a strong understanding of both the technical aspects of Epic Beaker and the clinical workflows within a laboratory setting. The Director will lead a team of Beaker analysts and maintain a top-tier team through effective retention and recruitment strategies. The Director will oversee daily operations of the teams and manage project responsibilities. They will propose and manage capital and operating budgets and project portfolios related to these applications. The role requires close collaboration within a matrixed environment to ensure the maintenance and upgrade of information systems. Additionally, the Director must stay informed of current and emerging trends in healthcare technology, seeking out information on best practices, application solutions, and services, with the aim of incorporating innovation in practical and cost-effective methods. As an influential leader with superior interpersonal and communication abilities, comprehensive business and technology knowledge, the role demands significant collaboration with clinical teams throughout the health system. The ideal candidate will be a customer-focused servant leader and a first-class problem solver. This role works closely with other leaders within Transformation Services, Laboratory Services, and the CMIO for Informatics and other operational leaders at Carle. Qualifications Certifications:

Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $62.09per hour - $106.79per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
