Job Overview
The Creative Production roles in the Content Studio require an understanding of social media, advertising, storytelling & technology. This role is responsible for the creation of media that lives on social and in the digital sphere. The role will work with Production, Creative & Social teams in the Content Studio to strategize, develop and execute compelling media that builds upon the T-Mobile brand narrative.
This position must be located in Overland Park, KS. This is a hybrid schedule requiring at least 3 days a week in office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leads creative teams through concepting and execution of full-scale digital video & animation projects.
- Collaborates with senior leadership on content strategy & consumer insight.
- Leads creation and evolution of design principles, guidelines and patterns.
- Establishes, evolves and evangelizes design strategy across the company.
- Communicates best practices for design and reasoning behind Creative Content & Brand decisions to key partners.
- Provides constructive feedback on peer designs.
- Guide media & content creation with Creative Production team to adhere to strategic insights & brand narrative.
- Produces sketches, graphic design, motion graphics, animation, and video edits.
- Presents work to the Content Studio teams and executives for review and feedback.
- Works with strategy to understand consumer insight and data points to develop future work with more brand impact.
- Builds successful partnerships within and outside the team.
- Works across functional teams to understand business and feature requirements.
- Contributes to the creation and evolution of the T-Mobile brand narrative & presence in the digital and social media sphere.
- Proven track record of working with highly creative teams and balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Leads and supports team members, both experienced & neophytes, to create a positive and cohesive culture that supports T-Mobile's vision.
- Guides, mentors and inspires other people in the team, keeping up with the media industry evolution including best practices, new trends and technologies.
- Collaborates internally and externally to continuously evolve team process and creative execution practice.
- Creates an environment that fosters internal and cross team collaboration.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Media, Design or a related field. (Required)
- Minimum 6 years' experience in an advertising agency, production or post-production professional environment. (Required)
- Portfolio required: website, reel, credit list, or examples of published work.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Marketing Understanding of theories and principles of advertising, social media marketing, and design.
- Understanding of media, motion graphics & design tools such as the Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut, Avid, Rhino, 3DSMax
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (Required)
- Understand media & asset management & workflow in a studio setting.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines in a collaborative team environment. (Required)
- Focus on developing strong strategic and presentation skills. (Required)
- Make actionable feedback given from peers, creative teams, & leadership. (Required)
- Must be open to traveling on rare occasions
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Base Pay Range: $76,000 - $137,100
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
