Location: Chesapeake, VA

Overview

Join our team supporting the production of Navy Environmental Equipment, where precision, safety, and quality are paramount. As a Production Electrical Technician, you'll play a critical role in electrical installations, equipment assembly, and shipboard integration-ensuring timely delivery of mission-ready systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Execute electrical and mechanical assembly tasks in alignment with production schedules

• Coordinate installation activity of electricians assigned to production activity

• Conduct quality inspections and Factory Acceptance Testing to validate product integrity

• Perform shipboard installation of electronic systems as required

• Travel to field sites for troubleshooting and upkeep of Navy equipment

• Maintain accurate production records and verify deliverables against contract specifications

• Maintain reports and objective quality evidence of production in required electronic file format

• Tag, inventory, and kit materials to support production workflows

• Identify and resolve production issues to maintain operational efficiency

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma

• 4+ years of experience installing Navy shipboard electrical systems

• 1-2 years of experience leading small teams in technical environments (production, manufacturing, assembly, or construction)

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and documentation practices

• Certified in copper and fiber optic termination

• Proficient in reading and interpreting MILSPEC drawings
