Department's Website: JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Ensures operation of the Career Pathways program within the guidelines of the Department of Workforce Services Memorandum of Agreement and the Subaward Agreement. Responsible for developing, implementing plans, evaluation, and decision making. Operates within pre-determined budget guidelines and objectives. Communicates with faculty and staff concerning changes in the program. Maintains inventory of CPI program equipment and materials. Collaborates with the Vice Chancellor for Student Services in developing the program budget; monitoring the CPI budget; communicating with the College's grants program administrator regarding budgetary issues; adhering to grant requirements related to the budget. Maintains records of the program for internal and external reporting requirements. Serves as a liaison with external constituents and partners, such as Adult Education, Department of Human Services, and Department of Workforce Services, Workforce Investment Board, and other social service agencies and community-based and faith-based organizations to identify, enroll, and serve students. Provides training and supervision to department staff to ensure effective and efficient operations of the department. Conducts annual performance reviews for department staff in a timely manner. Makes recommendations to the Vice Chancellor for Student Services for changes in the operations of CPI. Keeps the Vice Chancellor for Student Services informed of issues of operational needs related to CPI. Actively serves and participates on campus committees, as assigned. Maintains current knowledge and best practices in the CPI field by attending local, state, regional, or national conferences and meetings. Works cooperatively with the Information and Communications Accessibility Committee to ensure that department content is perceivable, operable, understandable and robust enough to be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of users.
