Staffmark Drivers is seeking new talent in Maple Grove, MN, hiring an experienced CDL A Local Driver to join our team! This is a home-daily position delivering to well-known retail stores, offering steady pay and a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential.

Pay: $28.50 per hour

Schedule: Home daily, Monday - Tuesday and Thursday - Friday (4 AM - 7 AM start time)

Job Details



  • Deliver retail goods to TJ Maxx, Sierra, and Marshalls
  • Manual pallet jack deliveries; most are dock deliveries, some with rail liftgates
  • Touch freight: palletized loading/unloading, recycling and pallet pickups included
  • All freight is on pallets
  • Transmission: Automatic only
  • Paid 3-4 days of driver training with trainer provided
  • Dress code: Casual (shorts acceptable), steel toes, company uniform provided



Job Duties



  • Perform required pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and report any issues to supervisor
  • Safely load, unload, and deliver palletized freight
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company policies
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at customer locations
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to assigned retail locations



Qualifications



  • Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card
  • At least 1 year of verifiable Class A experience within the last 3 years
  • No more than 3 moving violations/accidents in the past 3 years
  • Acceptable MVR and ability to pass pre-employment screenings
  • Clear FMCSA Clearinghouse report
