Platemaking Machine Operator

This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in production and printing technology within a steady, team-focused environment.

Pay: $21.00/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift - Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Review job tickets to determine production requirements
• Manufacture printing plates accurately and on schedule
• Operate platemaking equipment including CDI, exposure, washout, dryer, and post-exposure units
• Track materials and labor in the order entry system
• Learn vendor plating materials and quality control processes
• Participate in production meetings and support process improvements
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all SOPs and PPE procedures
• Communicate job status and handoffs to next shift
• Perform other duties as assigned and work overtime when needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with photopolymer or platemaking equipment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to learn technical equipment and processes
• Comfortable working in a production environment
