Position Summary Our client is looking for a Data Analyst to join our Employee Benefits Resource Team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical foundation, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will support business intelligence initiatives, streamline reporting processes, and contribute to strategic insights that drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities * Analyze and interpret complex datasets to support business decisions. * Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI, SQL, and Excel. * Utilize Power Query to transform and prepare data for analysis. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights. * Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Proactively identify opportunities to improve data processes and reporting efficiency. * Take full ownership of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion while also maintaining and managing key datasets to support ongoing analysis and reporting. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent education and/or experience. * 1-2 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related field strongly preferred. * Proficiency in BI Reporting Tools and Data Warehouse analysis (Power BI, SQL). * Advanced knowledge of Power Query and Microsoft Excel. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to prioritize and manage heavy workloads under tight deadlines. * Creative problem-solving skills and a drive to challenge existing processes for improvement. * Self-starter with a high level of initiative and accountability. * Familiarity with insurance or benefits data is advantageous but not required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.20 - $28.20/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
