Job Title: Service Technician Location: Carrollton, TX 75006 Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Pay: $24-$26/hr (based on experience) Target Start Date: September 14, 2025 Pre-Employment Requirement: Must be willing to submit to background and drug screenings (including THC) Additional Requirement: Must have reliable transportation Overview: We're seeking a skilled Service Technician to join a growing team in Carrollton, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least one year of commercial alarm installation experience who's ready to take on diverse projects across hospitals, airports, and corporate offices. Key Responsibilities: * Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain security systems including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms * Work with IP/analog cameras, access control panels, magnetic locks, card readers, motion sensors, and more * Collaborate with project managers and technicians to complete documentation and meet project timelines * Provide system training and support to customers * Maintain accurate daily records and follow operational standards Qualifications: * Minimum 1 year of experience installing commercial alarm systems * Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently at customer sites * Must have PPE: hard hat with chin strap, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and safety vest * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments including construction sites * Comfortable with physical tasks such as climbing, crawling, and using power tools Additional Details: * On-site role with an average of 1-2 job sites per day * No mileage reimbursement, but hourly pay includes drive time between sites Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr.
