Principal Systems Engineer On-Site - Chandler, AZ Job Description: * Responsible for working under general direction for the SEIT Technical Execution Lead to define the environmental requirements and ensure traceability from Level 4 down to Level 6 within the specification tree. * Responsible for frequent interorganizational interactions to carry requirements through the design. * Responsible for collaboration with other systems engineers and other disciplines to support the development of the NGI deliverables. * Basic Qualifications* * Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline Science Technology Engineering or Math with 5 years of related engineering experience or a Masters degree in STEM with 3 years of related engineering experience or a PhD in STEM with no experience * Solid foundational understanding of Systems Engineering * General understanding of all design disciplines * Demonstrated experience in requirements development and decomposition validation and verification * Demonstrated experience in requirements traceability * DOORS or other requirements Management Experience * Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and nontechnical personnel * Interim Secret DoD security clearance or higher - Most work is performed in a closed area Preferred Qualifications * Systems Engineering experience * Requirement decomposition functional flow diagrams Use case analysis * Experience working fast paced development programs * Sysml or Cameo Experience Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $63.00 - $85.00/hr.
