We're looking for motivated individuals with fiber experience to help build and maintain cutting-edge network infrastructure. What You'll Do: * Un-rack and rack network equipment * Install/remove fiber circuit jumpers * Populate switch ports with optical transceivers * Troubleshoot fiber optic circuits using VFL, power meter, and loopback tools * Box/unbox equipment and maintain organized workspaces * Follow safety protocols and submit daily reports What You Bring: * Ability to read port-maps and operate a laptop * Experience handling single-mode and multi-mode fiber jumpers * Familiarity with patching in a data center environment * Bonus: Spreadsheet skills and fiber troubleshooting experience Schedule: * 4-day workweek: Monday-Thursday, 6am-4pm (10-hour shifts) * Optional OT available on other teams Why This Role Rocks: * No prior telecom experience required-just a willingness to learn! * Get hands-on experience in a massive, high-tech data center * Build a foundation for future roles like Data Center Technician * Work on-site at a major tech company's flagship facility Location: Richmond, VA - Over 2.5 million sq. ft. of data center space. Must be comfortable with heights and a fast-paced construction environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
