*Systems Support Specialist - Tier 1/2*
*Join a fast-paced, tech-driven team where your problem-solving skills and passion for IT make a real impact.* As a Systems Support Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our technical support operations, tackling escalated issues and ensuring smooth, efficient service across the organization. From advanced troubleshooting to collaborating with Tier 1 support and engineering teams, your work will help drive continuous improvement in our IT processes and service quality. *What You'll Be Doing* * *Technical Troubleshooting (40%)* * * Resolve complex support issues involving hardware, software, networking, mobile devices, and peripherals. Escalate unresolved problems to Tier 3 or engineering teams with thorough documentation of steps taken. * *System Monitoring & Incident Review (15%)* * * Keep a close eye on ticket queues and system performance. Participate in post-incident reviews and help implement solutions to prevent future issues. * *Asset Management (15%)* * * Track and manage hardware/software inventory using asset tools. Assist with imaging, configuration, and deployment while ensuring compliance with security and organizational standards. * *Support Queue Coverage (20%)* * * Provide rotational coverage for the support phone queue, handling overflow and high-priority calls. Collaborate with Tier 1 support to ensure timely resolution and escalation when needed. * *Policy & Security Compliance (10%)* * * Ensure all support actions align with IT policies, change control procedures, and security best practices. Assist with patching, software deployment, and infrastructure updates. * Microsoft certifications (MCSE, MCTS) a plus * 2+ years of experience troubleshooting PCs, printers, phones, and infrastructure issues *Top Skills* * Windows OS (10/11) * Troubleshooting & Imaging * Office 365, Intune, Azure * Active Directory, SCCM, Entra * Networking fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, wireless, telecom) *Additional Qualifications* * Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization * Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively * High responsiveness and customer service orientation in a fast-paced environment * Willingness to travel to other locations as needed * Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving *Experience Level:* Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
