About the Role We're seeking a Product Owner to join a dynamic software delivery team focused on supporting legacy policy products. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, asks insightful questions, and has a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
As a Product Owner, you'll be responsible for identifying, organizing, prioritizing, and assessing work for the team. You'll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather feature requests, coordinate sprints, and manage product releases. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent communication and prioritization skills. Key Responsibilities * Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the delivery team * Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release coordination * Collaborate with BAs and QAs to create user stories and test plans * Identify user needs and translate them into actionable product features * Support legacy systems while preparing for future transitions * Ask the right questions to uncover root issues and drive solutions Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience * 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Scrum Master * Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) * Experience with tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, or Rally * Excellent communication, facilitation, and prioritization skills Preferred Qualifications * Experience in business analysis or project management * Familiarity with CI/CD practices * Insurance industry knowledge * Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills * Ability to work independently and with remote teams Work Environment & Perks * Hybrid work model with flexible hours * Casual dress code and modern workspaces with standing desks * On-site 6,000 sq. ft. fitness facility * Educational Assistance Program * Supportive team culture with long average tenure Interview Process * Multiple rounds of interviews * Includes Wonderlic and financial math assessments *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $70.00/hr.
