Production Simulation Specialist

Talogy
United States
Sep 03, 2025
Description

We are seeking a technically capable, highly organized, and customer focused professional to support the implementation, operation, and ongoing support of Talogy's production simulations and assessment center operations. This individual will also be part of a consulting team and must actively communicate availability to help support various clients and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule, coordinate, and actively participate in project, support, and operations calls; capture needs, provide updates, and translate discussions into clear next steps.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, HR, safety, management teams, proctors, and assessors to ensure confidence in simulation and hiring processes.
  • Act as the first-line intake for support or operations issues (via call, text, or email); log, track, and monitor issues through resolution, escalating when necessary.
  • Travel regularly to client sites for design sessions, installations, follow-up visits, training, and urgent support needs.
  • Document design sessions and translate ideas into deliverables such as mockups, instructional content, scripts, manuals, and process guides.
  • Create and maintain site-specific documentation, including selection processes, script variations, troubleshooting guides, and simulation manuals.
  • Document and communicate changes in hiring workflows to other support resources.
  • Contribute to the design process by helping with facility and station schematics (using 3D tools), identifying potential issues, and proposing improvements based on prior support experience.
  • Support installation of production simulation stations and coordinate with local contractors or vendors as needed.
  • Train and coach local staff and proctors during and after installations; participate in instructional video development and delivery.
  • Lead or support follow-up calls after go-live to evaluate simulation status, document lessons learned, and help resolve outstanding issues.
  • Track and manage site part inventories (OTS and MTO), evaluate requested changes across sites, and recommend standardization or alternatives.
  • Research and propose higher-quality or more cost-effective part options, maintain vendor and fabricator relationships, and manage account credentials.
  • Ensure procurement requests are fulfilled accurately, confirm delivery, and resolve discrepancies; reconcile all spending against project and support budgets by site.
  • Create, maintain, and improve issue-tracking and documentation methods for projects, support, and site operations.
  • Facilitate collaboration and best practice sharing among assessment center managers to encourage peer-to-peer problem solving rather than immediate escalation.
  • Represent the consulting team with professionalism and credibility, ensuring timely communication and impactful engagement with clients and staff.
  • Provide on-site support during major hiring pushes or to cover emergency staffing gaps at assessment centers.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and task management skills; able to coordinate multiple projects, support issues, and site operations simultaneously.
  • Comfort with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues; technical curiosity and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to create or edit basic 3D schematics (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, or equivalent) for facility and station layouts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) and comfort with documentation and tracking tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create manuals, scripts, and process documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Experience coordinating procurement, tracking budgets, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Flexibility to travel for installations, training, and urgent site support as required.
